#1 because #2 has the beak tip apparently just touching the feeder, as if the jay were trying to peck through the plastic.

I don't mean to be blunt, but neither is really worthy of putting any effort into. they are both a bit dreary, and that wire fence in the background is ugly. feeder images in general need to have something extra going for them, such as a unique pose, etc. maybe wait for a better day, and try changing the angle. for better IQ, try without the TC too.
