Well we hit 120° yesterday. Our record is 124° from 2 years ago. Thank goodness it will only be 115° (forecast) for today.
Yeah, I understand hot.. and that's why I go out to the islands or stay in the Cascades!

Broke the record in Death Valley yesterday... The record was 134°, yesterday hit 135°
.

.
My goodness!

The day it was 118 here was the hottest temperature I have ever experienced, and it was stifling. . Can't even imagine living in a place where summer temps of 115 or 120 are normal. . I really love the heat, but at some point it gets to be too much. . No wonder you come north in the summers.

.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

Enjoyed the photos from everyone, nothing from me this week and it was certainly a subject I should have been able to participate in. Working too many hours and getting further behind it seems. It began raining here on Friday evening though we didn't need it, rained the week before, total at my farm was 6 inches for the weekend. Twenty miles from my place they got over 11 inches and a report of 15 inches in one area. A secondary highway near my friends house was washed away and many roads have major damage. It was 62 degrees this morning and misted rain all day with a high of 73. The high temps some are having sound unbearable and I do not envy those in the heat and drought. So far where I live we have mild temps, plenty of moisture and Mosquitos the size of small birds.

So, insult to injury.. I did a little movie for Animal Kingdom, but time and a lack of knowledge has left me without a contribution this week... sigh...
