First time I've spotted a Pompilid wasp with prey- a large sac spider.

Amazes me how these insects dominate over others.
At times i would have imagined the prey should be devouring the hunter

I would expect the wasp to have been a more likely victim.

Thanks for the comments - an unexpected find although I had seen quite a few of the wasps around on that day.
