The camera should be closer to the building and focal point should follow the Building out. Hey lostdoggy, Thanks for looking. I had a polarizer on my lens. It was just overcast. Even PP didn't help much.

A while back I posted a lighthouse pic. It was dead center and basically was boring boring. So I was trying something different. Now that you mention it, I see the WALL first too and it's very prominant. Well back to the drawing board

Crop out right hand 1/3 of picture? 2nd one. I like it. Great colours. Perhaps emphasis would have been on the lighthouse more if shot from the street where the motorcyclist is. But include the wall still. Haha...you have to go back and reshoot...like I've done on a subject today...for the third time...costing me a fortune in time and gas! Well now it"s raining AGAIN!!! OH WELL. Will try again.

Use "save as" and select jpeg with a quality of 10. Your pictures will look 10 times better beachgirl. people will always try to stop you doing the right thing if it is unconventional

I originally save it @ quality 8 and had a lot of JPEg artifacts. So i re did it and saved it at 10. Check it out and let me know if you see a difference. I posted it in CC title Howz the sharpness.Thanks.BG.

So when I resize and save for posting just use save as? I will do this. PSE3 almost always wants to save as 10. So I won't change this either. Thanks for your help.

BG When you do it that, it also preserves the EXIF data too.

It will also help take the load of this forum's server.

I can't really call them photographs yet.
