I believe these photos deserve more praise than a simple "like" click. Besides a technically excellent photo you've also captured bird behavior. Well done.

Well done, Bob! I have a nest here on our property this year also. So far I've gotten a few shots of the adult and one male chick, but I suspect there are more in the cavity that haven't shown themselves yet. It was worth a big hole in one our trees to be able to see this.

thanks Ian- these guys are in a camp ground in Everglades Nat. Park. perfect set up and used to people- sort of..... hope they come back next year. I see them in the woods and find them nesting but they are super shy out there
