Digital Speed Challenge #664: On the Road Again

Road images: Of something on the road, you on the road, the road to somewhere, roadies, road kill .... Show us the way!

This challenge begins when posted and ends on Monday, July 19th at midnight GMT. Winner of this challenge will be announced shortly thereafter.

Challenge Rules:

1. Camera: Any DIGITAL CAMERA is allowed, not just DSLR.
2. Time: Any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Size: Please visit Image Posting Rules.
4. Post Processing: Do whatever you like and the host will decide if it works.
5. Posting: ONE PHOTO per photographer per challenge. List camera model & lens used. Post brief EXIF data: ISO, shutter speed and aperture.
6. Commenting: No commenting during challenge. When the posting is closed and a winner declared, comments can be made in this thread.
7. Keep it clean, and both Family and Work safe.
8. Have questions, PM me.
9. Have lots of FUN!

Literally on the road, again.

i always thought Glocca Morra was in Ireland but apparently it is HERE, in Canada along the Alaskan Highway, just a little before you get into Alaska. i cant tell you the EXACT SPOT, but apparently FedEx knows how to get here...

Rwmson – The Road to Philly: Love the composition, contrasts, reflections and detail at all distances.

dilorenzo1954 – The Road Less Travelled: Nice road interpretation. Great undulations. Wonderfully leaning telephone poles. And fresh pavement.

OldCrow - Literally on the road, again: This is indeed the most literal translation of the theme into image. Hope setup could be moved fast in case of transport truck. Nice.

Ltdave - Glocca Morra: A real roadie shot. Can smell the dust, gas and old beer fumes. And probably great pie.


All things considered, I have to hand it to Rwmson as this week's challenge winner. Roger - next stop on the route?

like was asked (sort of) was there anyone ELSE around who could yell "Car!" when you had to stop "playing" and move out of the street?
