Trying to get prepared to shoot Perseids later this week.
Will be shooting with Canon EOS R6. Sigma 14-24 wide angle lens and I also have a Vello ShutterBoss ii.
Now even though I believe I can set my photoshoot up using the camera’s Bulb Mode I think I’m still more comfortable using the Vello. Trying to do some practice shots but it’s not working 100%. Here are my settings:
Camera is in Bulb Mode
Vello is connected. Vello settings are:
Self: 10 seconds
Long: 10 seconds
Interval: 3 seconds
Number: 10

What is not working is the “Interval”. It’s not waiting the 3 seconds but rather shooting 1 picture after the other without an interval. Aside from that, everything else seems to be work8ng as should.

Any ideas?

Canon 7D Mark II; Canon 70-300mm "L"; Canon 100mm Macro; Tamron 24-70mm; Tokina 11-16mm 2.8

Just guessing here, but if the exposure is 10 seconds, should the Interval be "10 sec for the exp" + "the desired interval" + "some time allowed for writing to the card"?

So, if you wanted the time between frames to be say 5 secs, then that would give 10 + 5 + say 2 for the write time?
