This is a Custom Brackets Digital PRO-SV Camera Rotator with Tripod Quick Release. It is in excellent condition and is beautifully manufactured. It allows you to rotate your camera from horizontal (landscape) to vertical (portrait), while mounted on your tripod, keeping the lens in the same position. (It can be rotated in between horizontal and vertical if you want a Dutch angle.) It's a great idea if you use you a tripod regularly and don't want the hassle of adjusting the height and position of your tripod head every time you switch from horizontal to vertical or vice versa. You can set it up to use without a battery grip or with a battery grip by unscrewing the camera mounting plate and reattaching it flipped over. (Instructions are included but, since I bought it preowned, it did not come with the allen wrench – it's a standard size.)

The Digital PRO-SV has a smooth rotation along with a maintenance-free setup. It's machined from black anodized aluminum for strength while remaining lightweight. It uses roller bearings for easy rotation from horizontal to vertical. It comes with a quick release system to make it easy to remove from your tripod. Here's the manufacturer's web page on it: https://www.custombrackets.com/products/digital-pro-sv (external link)...
I bought this preowned with the intention of using my tripod more often when photographing portraits and promotional photos but, despite knowing I should use a tripod regularly, I never got in the habit.
Brand new, this sells for $184.99 (including the Custom Brackets tripod plate and tripod quick release.) Price reduced to $85, including shipping in the contiguous U.S. I accept PayPal, will package carefully and ship promptly.

I've sold numerous items on POTN, Facebook groups, like the Canon Equipment: Buy & Sell, and eBay. All transactions have gone smoothly with positive feedback. (Most of my feedback here is on the old system.)

If you have questions, please let me know.

Unlike 20 years ago, there is little interest by anyone in brackets of any type.

  • The tripod rotary backet like your Custom Bracket has largely been replaced by the use of L-brackets that mount into Arca-compatible QR clamps.

  • The inquiries into flash brackets which hold flash units above the lens axis is also something in which there used to be considerable interest, but I have no idea why interest in that type of product has disappeared!

Canon dSLR system, Olympus OM 35mm system, Bronica ETRSi 645 system, Horseman LS 4x5 system, Metz flashes, Dynalite studio lighting, and too many accessories to mention

I'm hoping to find an old-school photographer who still wants to use this!

Good luck.

I tried to sell a surplus perfectly working Metz 54MZ Canon eTTL-compatible flash...not even a nibble at $100 with no counteroffers for a flash that was discounted by B&H to $350 when new.
Folks would rather buy Yungnao or some other brand with zero post-sale support. Folks selling Canon 580EX get similar lack of interest.
