Every time I plan on going to a theme park (Orlando, Florida), I always overthink what equipment I will be taking with me.

Yesterday was no exception. I took my 6dmk2 with a 16-35mm f4.0L and an EF 28mm f1.8 USM in a backpack.

I ended up using the 28mm 99% of the time. It worked great for cramped indoor shots, wide enough to capture outside shots but not wide enough to distort faces in my images.

I thought about taking my crop-sensored 7dmk2 with EF-S 17-55mm f2.8, but it would have weighed a ton.

So, it looks like my go-to theme park lens is my EF 28mm f1.8 USM.

What's your theme park, go-to lens?

I've been putting a kit like that together this summer, although I call mine a beer garden kit.

I've been out a couple of times with a 90D and an 18-135. It's plenty small and you can't beat the range. Just today I bought a Sigma 17-50 2.8. I'll be taking that out Wednesday, see how that fits the plan.
