Previously, and I don't when things changed, on the first time I opened an image in the Develop module LR already had the boxes checked in Lens Correction. Now it doesn't. I don't know what has changed in either LR or the camera.

How can I get both Lens Correction boxes checked back on by default so they are automatically applied on Import?

I too have found this troublesome. Every time I open an image, I have to manually enable the lens corrections. No matter what I do!

What versions do you have? Many years ago I wrote this for myself and applied it for every lens which worked for me.

Click on Setup - Reset Lens Profile Defaults. Make sure it does this. Double check it.

In the Lens Correction palette find the lens in Make and then Model.

Setup automatically changes to Custom.

Click on Setup and then on Save New Lens Profile Defaults.

Setup switches back to Default and new lens has been added. Now it will find it no matter which camera you are using.

This was before Adobe introduced ISO Adaptive Presets. I created one preset for each camera. My preferred settings for Texture, Clarity, Dehaze, Sharpening, Detail, Masking and NR apply at import and automatically adjust for each file based on that files ISO. Lens Corrections and CA also apply at import. I select the preset I want at import - R or R5 Adaptive.
