From the rooftop of an apt building located at the intersection of Mass Ave and Tremont St. The views from there are awesome in all directions. The tall building on the left of the Pru is new, with luxury apts and the Four Seasons moving in there.

I thought it was somewhere around Commonwealth Ave, I haven't seen the Four Seasons Bldg yet... My son was living across Charles River, Mass Ave in Cambridge.

Thats such a lovely place to have an apt. Especially for a youngster. So much happening all the time and so much to do. Was he a student there?

Yes, at MIT, there was a wonderful view over Boston. Now moved to Wisconsin.

Nothing much going on here apart from taking a wedding reference photo for a painting this evening at the reception. Lousy shot because no flash was allowed.

Had to go to the body shop this week to get a repair estimate on a minor fender bender. :-(

We've had a lot of smoke this summer. Was waiting for a relatively clear morning to go shoot a herd of horses down the road. They were taken somewhere else in the last couple of days so I just started looking around :-)

apologies for the quality - frame grab from a GoPro that wasn't mounted correctly, so some motion blur

After a record driest ever year last year, we've had record HIGH amounts of rain this monsoon season. I went exploring a little to see how well things had greened up. This is usually a fairly decent road. The little "ditch" currently showing is the old edge of the road. Definitely not a good place for the side-by-side racers (sorry, sore spot, some are reasonable but some are *not forum friendly language*)

Again, nothing much happening this week apart from painting live at a wedding. I had to get the beautiful bride's dress detail for the painting, so the shot is not that good. But the bride was stunning and so was her dress. The venue is an art deco building called The Hall of Sate https://www.fairpark.org …cal-society-hall-of-state (external link)

Slightly better picture of the former road shown above. Damage is a bit more obvious. I didn't want to get too close to the edge in front of me, sharp drop ended in a deep muddy pool of water. Who knows how stable that soil is, considering this?
