I recently relocated to Tucson and our new place/neighborhood has 4-5 resident hawks working the area. One just about gave me a heart attack when it rapidly landed outside my office window, in pursuit of a cottontail rabbit. The rabbit survived, I almost died lol

These shots are from the same day, the group was working the area, taking turns scouting, landing in trees and on the street signs. Very pretty birds of prey... I can't wait to photograph them again.

Thanks for looking.

That first shot, in particular, is stunning. Well done. I seem to recall that Harris's Hawks typically hunt and nest in groups. IMO, they are arguably one of the most beautiful hawks.

Incredible set! Funny comment, the Rabbit survived, but you almost died. Glad you survived to share more great photos.
