Kalahari flowers in the morning

This is an early morning shot of flowers still wet from the dew, the Kalahari is very dry so often this is the only moisture around.

Nikon D200 with 18-200 VR @ 22mm, f7.1, 1/30sec handheld.

Very interesting shot, delightful colours and beautifully clear. I find the background to the right detracts a bit from it though.

Its a beautiful flower. I hesitated calling it a bloom. Its so different... anyway, a clear as crystal photo.
