Works with regular CF cards and UHS-I and UHS-II SD cards. Seems to get the most out of any card I put in it.

You might want to take the existing Kingston reader and make sure it is up to date on firmware. See https://www.kingston.c​om …technical/downl​oads/89636. Take note it does not list Windows 10 but some reports indicate it works fine and speeds up the read speeds.

The card reader I have been using for years is the Kingston FCR-HS4

So probably very similar to yours, but just the updated version. . Maybe they're up to 5 or 6 or 7 now? . Maybe just getting the latest one would do what you need it to do.
