Digital Speed Challenge #672 - Smart/Minimal and Simple Logo/Symbol

There are some things in this man-made world that are striking and instantly recognisable - largely due to their simplicity e.g. a Mercedes-Benz 3-pointed star.

Lighting and composition are key, go find

Jerry-R : Simple but "flat" composition. Probably effective but I see no logo or symbol

rwmson : A loud and clear logo but, photographically, it does not fl;oat my boat

RDWP : Satisfies my spec. perfectly. Love the simplicity of this shot

OldCrow : Love the composition and lighting, good adherence to spec.

Ltdave : No doubt what this is; I have one too :-) But it's a bit "flat"

Happygav Yes, this one works for me, ticks all boxes

OldCrow takes the crown this weed with Happygav and RDWP 2nd equal

Thanks to everyone who entered a shot this week

Over to you OldCrow

Congratulations Don, nicely snapped!

That is a Castle Nut and End Plate for an AR-15 build.

Martin, The "F" in a shield (shown on the lower piece) is the logo for Fortis Manufacturing. I agree, a bit flat, and difficult to see the logo.

This is the AR-15 I built that has the castle nut and end plate. It is a semi-automatic firearm.

Hardly the best choice when the Thread Starter lives in a country where private ownership of firearms is very strictly controlled and fewer than 0.1% of the UK population have a legal firearm. That does not stop crime but it is a very severe limitation.

great "shot" but having built a dozen or so, where does the castle nut go? granted ive not built any with a key-mod, quadrail so maybe its part of that? is it on the buffer tube maybe?
