WORLDWIDE PHOTO WEEK: Part 782 - Changing of the Seasons

Every week we select a new theme, and then go out and shoot that theme. This week the theme is Changing of the Seasons. As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.


Show us the Changing of the Seasons where you are...


Here are the rules:
1. Shots need to be taken between Tuesday, after the new theme is posted and the following Monday by sunset (Whenever that is for you). Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives. Snapshots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!
2. Post your shots at any time during the week.
3. Post a maximum of two shots if you're uploading them to POTN (i.e., attaching them). You can post more than two if you're linking to shots that are not hosted by POTN (i.e. embedding them) but keep within POTN rules. Also keep within POTN rules about size. Wow.. That is a really good image.
The colors, the sky and of course the leaves.
It looks like tropical island colors

Thank you Joayne. I bought a new iPhone and so far I am
really impressed with the camera.
This is a spot along where where I go to do some walking
these days to help withthe grief.

Not many seasons here in Hawaii, however the volcano vog does gives some colors as seen last night...

Fall colors are great but they are messy at times.

My entry for this week:

The vineyards on the ridge above us are just beginning to turn and show their Fall colors.

Summer into fall: tomatoes are juicy-ripe but the leaves are rapidly drying out

They were among many tomatoes in a yard I passed on a walk yesterday. This cluster was near the sidewalk. I just had to stand next to the fence and zoom a bit.

No idea the plant type, but clearly autumn is upon it.

Changing seasons here in the desert.. We really only have 2 seasons and they are getting longer for the HOT side and shorter for the COOL side. In Spring, which starts off in February we see plants having growth spurts and flowers blooming. by June, most flowers have died back and it gets hot... really hot. In the cool season, at the beginning, we get more flowers, but not as many. So here you can see all the dead "blossoms" backed by the new flowers that are just now blooming..
