A couple of free graphics apps were mentioned recently in the Before and After thread and this made me wonder what else there is out there that is worth having. There are certainly 2 or 3 that I that I use regularly. Here are some that I have used.
Aurora HDR 2018- it was updated in 2019, but this earlier version is extremely capable and has a sophisticated editor in addition to many presets.
Fastoneviewer (Windows only)
Irfanview(Windows only)
Microsoft Image Composite Editor (ICE) v2.0(Windows only) A very effective image stither.
Nik Collection 1.2.11(Windows only) A plethora of editing tools
SNS-HDR Lite+ GUI
(Windows only) Instructions here
(PDF)
ShiftN(Windows only) perspective distortion correction
Please help me to expand this list - I guess that GIMP will be a contender
