Satechi has taken a multi-port device and added enough space to it to enclose an SSD.

It has no built in storage, "Supports SATA M.2 SSD only (not included), does not support Nvme"

and in doing searches on the web, the products that I find are all stated as Apple-compatible products and do not mention Windows environment.

Canon dSLR system, Olympus OM 35mm system, Bronica ETRSi 645 system, Horseman LS 4x5 system, Metz flashes, Dynalite studio lighting, and too many accessories to mention

Wilt, I did not say it has built in storage; I said “added enough space for it to enclose an SSD.” The device costs $90, to think that would include any drive except something very small, would be foolish.

In spite of it listing dominantly Mac devices, I have found that similar type devices work fine in a Windows environment. I do see Microsoft Surface Laptop 3/Surface Pro 7/Go listed, all of which use Windows 10. Specifically Satechi states “The Type-c hub is compatible with PC, however, most PCs will not have the required type of USB-C port. It needs to utilize DisplayPort over USB-C with Alternative Mode.” You would have to check the PC specs to be sure it would work.

I know you made no claims. Just pointing out one detail that might be assumed by some readers.
