In the absence of penguins I'll join the sparrows faction. - Even they were rare on this rainy day.

.
No good Deer opportunities today, but the Elk were quite active in cool looking habitat, even if the light was kinda all backwards.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

With the weather turning colder here in the Netherlands we have some uninvited however welcome guest in our house. Huddled up together there are four ladybugs (Lieveheersbeestje(s) in Dutch, try to pronounce that correctly :-D). I believe there are two more running around the ceiling trying to find these four.

When you live where I do, there's only really one animal to post. This little lady (Barbary macaque) didn't seem too bothered by me this afternoon.

hey y'all, looks like I haven't posted on POTN every since I moved from the Netherlands to Canada 3 years ago. Outside of vacations I haven't been too active with photography. I'm currently recovering from an injury and my physiotherapist tells me to spend less time behind a PC and more outside. I figured these threads would be a good motivation to go out to shoot pictures :)
We went exploring along the Nova Scotian south shore today. The animals weren't as cooperative as I'd hoped, but this seagull on a pole will do :)

...And Look, here you are posting again! :p

I have to say, I'm am very skittish around those primates..
I've seen them steal stuff from people and bite. Although, she is a pretty poser.

Always careful around them Joayne, I clearly had no food on me, no bag containing goodies, just my camera in hand, so she wasn’t very interested in me. It’s a different story if you have a bag, or they can get the scent of food from your pockets, then you need to be very wary!
