Let's say I have a stack containing 3 RAW files in Lightroom. I want to apply one correction to the first RAW file in the stack, another correction to the last one and leave the second untouched. Then I want to save the stack as a DNG (HDR of sorts). That's totally doable by hand with one stack. But what if I have thousands of stacks that needs the exact same procedure repeated? Is it even possible without custom scripting?

Scripting might be a tad difficult but I do think you could shorten the work assuming you already have the images stacked and you are applying the same adjustment to a single photo per stock.

1. Select all photo stacks (really the top of the stack)
2. Apply adjustments, then sync against all selected photos
3. move the selected images to the bottom of the stack

Repeat once for the different adjustment on the second image in the stack, and you are leaving one as is.

At that point you can combine into a HDR DNG by individual stack. I don't believe you could do this to multiple stacks at once.
