I'm hoping the body detection will help with birds against busy backgrounds but we will see.

Can't wait, sounds like it makes the AF a bit closer to the R3 in implementation. Not speed or performance though as the R3 has different hardware, but improved eye and head detection and vehicle detection are always good things.

No wonder, since they haven't come to more than version one.
Point fifty, to be precise.

I would like the AF system to be more sticky, to hook on to the target and not let go until i tell it to. If this update adds that i will be a happy puppy. :)

Yes that would be nice and I hope that includes animal bodies. It does not specify. We'll see.

But will it sort out the locking up issue? Let's hope so.

Another one that has been a complaint since day 1 is locked 20FPS in ES. No mention but people are hoping. Sometimes not all changes are listed. If that happens I’ll probably use it more than I do now, which is never.

Apparently the R3 can be adjusted.

You can select from three presets, according to the manual.

On the contrary, active enough to notice. You comment may mislead people to think there is a version 3.X available.
