Omega Centauri (ω Cen, NGC 5139, or Caldwell 80) is a globular cluster in the constellation of Centaurus that was first identified as a non-stellar object by Edmond Halley in 1677. Located at a distance of 17,090 light-years (5,240 parsecs), it is the largest-known globular cluster in the Milky Way at a diameter of roughly 150 light-years. It is estimated to contain approximately 10 million stars, and a total mass equivalent to 4 million solar masses, making it the most massive-known globular cluster in the Milky Way.

Omega Centauri is very different from most other galactic globular clusters to the extent that it is thought to have an origin as the core remnant of a disrupted dwarf galaxy

Wow! That's just amazing. You are really getting your money's worth out of that Slooh subscription.
But doing the math in my head, I get more like 45 minutes of exposure time, not 21.

I think I wasn't clear enough. Lums 10x50sec = 500 sec

RGBs are each 25 second there were a total of 30 R,G,B - 10 subs for each color I should have said that, 750 sec for 21 minutes total of all 4 filters

The thing that gets me is what you can do with a big scope and dark skies! My skies at home are Bortle 7.5 on the Automile Norwood/Walpole MA also 75% tree cover. Without a remote scope I wouldn't be able to get much. I like my sleep and hate the cold and also since my stroke and with heart issues I can't travel much but if it weren't for being lazy I could go to the Seagrave Observatory in Rhode Island and use their 12" and 16" Meade SCT's although their skies aren't that much better, Bortle 6-6.5 but filters make up for that. I just get spoiled by Slooh and doing astronomy via the web.
I guess I am just getting lazy. However I do a lot of solar from my backyard as I can see the sun from 10am-12:30 this time of year and I am awake.

here is my home observatory and the Meade 16 at Seagrave (where I am a Trustee)
