So - walking around 'Cathedral Grove' on our Canada trip and catch movement out of the corner of my eye and see this

Just having the R3 with the RF 24-70 didn't hold out much chance of getting it but surprised with the crop - any help on what type of Owl would be appreciated

Two more ID's if possible,

Driving in the middle of no where in BC saw a tiny bird - wife shouts "owl" so quick stop, get camera out of the boot of the car and grab a couple of shots before it fly's off

This ID has had us running around in circles - first off we thought it was a juvenile bald eagle but it seems a lot bigger than the adult - is it possible it's a juvenile male and the adult is a female?

I think the first might be a barred owl, and I believe the female bald eagle is the larger of the species.
