Flashback Friday from 2010... Going back to the motherland (Philippines) since leaving in 1972... Visited relatives for the first week, then toured around only a few islands the following two weeks... It was definitely an eye opener to the 3rd world country conditions and what we have here in the states... Made me appreciate the little things we have and, at times, take for granted how lucky we all are... This capture (Bohol, Philippines) was interesting because it was actually a local stop where people in boats would come and buy fruits and stuff from that makeshift stand... 1D2N + 16-35L (Mark 1) + Hoya Pro1 Digital CPL + HiTech 0.6 GND Filter... ISO 200, f/5.6 @ 1/500sec...

it’s been more than 3 years since I used this lens along with a bulky canon body. I must say, I was surprised with the results! this old combo is still a performer - the batteries, not so much ߘ
