First off, not bragging on my astrophotography skills. I was trying for Comet Leonard last night with my Canon 7Ti and 18-55 kit lens. Crashed and burned on that. But I keep getting this bright red star down below Saturn and to the left of Venus. I think it is in Sagittarius. Actually pretty close to where I think Leonard should have been located last night. I've just never gotten a star this red before while trying night sky photography.
Anybody got a clue?
Edit: Capricorn, not Sagittarius.
