Seems canon no longer makes this battery. That's sad. Kind of aggravates me that these Companies make proprietary batteries and stop making them.
What's a good brand to use? I think I bought wasabi and they never hed the same charge for my 60d, not sure if it was a bad one. What is the best second option?

Fortunately, there are third party companies that make those, and offer them for sale at far better prices than Canon ever did, and these typically have more mAh capacity than the Canon ones.
Wasabi and Sterlingtek are long known for being good aftermarket brands.
The only issue is that the retailer might have had them for a while...an Li ion batteries start to lose capacity the day they are manufactured (regardless of brand)!

I always have had good luck with Wasabi. One battery that I purchased from them was bad right away but a call to them resulted in them sending me another that has worked great for years. I have Wasabi batteries for both my Canon and Fuji cameras. You can buy six Canon compatible batteries from them for the price of one Canon battery.
