Aug 01, 2022 16:46 | #1318 Classic shot of The Three Sisters and Mt Jefferson (and the tiny ^ just to the right of Jefferson is Triangulation peak) - road 46 through that section is a nice drive for fall color! You can go from Timothy lake to the town of Detroit - paved the entire way... "little crater lake" is on the way as well!! This shot is also a classic as some days you'll be above the clouds!!! Those clear cuts below - the PCT runs just right above them, as ugly as they are- there's rhododendrons and beargrass that blooms quite well in June/July - if you're able/willing to park at Frog lake, hike west, and you'll hit a less visited, less zoo like view of Mt.
