Well, I would have had my best Osprey and GBH BIF shots ever today if only I had set the IS mode switch for panning

As it was, I did mange to get a couple of decent shots. On the bright side, the shots over in the “portrait” thread turned out well.

I graciously appreciate you kind compliment, havelock. I'm glad you like the shot. Unfortunately my reaction speed has slowed down a lot. Only a small percentage of my overall attempts actually are acceptable. But it's still enjoyable to be out and shooting away.
