One heck of a nice capture, havelock! This sharp image really stands out so well from the grey background. I can easily see the numbers and letters on the band. With our waterfowl over here in the states, if we can read the numbers, we turn them in to the Department of Fish & wildlife. Do you turn the numbers of this bird in to your wildlife department?

. interesting and thanks for your comments..no I dont think we do there for that reason but definitely makes sense Mike .:-D

I'd give these two Black-crowned Night Heron shots an outstanding rating for sure, EB! Your focus is spot on. Beautiful captures.

What a terrific, dramatic looking shot this is, Ted!

This hummer is tack sharp and so lifelike, Steve! Wonderful separation from the beautifully colored blurry background. It's a very attractive photograph.

Simply shunning, Rob!

What an outstanding, beautifully photographed capture of these two Brown Thrashers, Paul! It's such an attractive shot.

Excellent capture, Steve!

A-Number-1 capture of this Common Tern, Cog! When the sharpness is good, and the eye can be clearly seen, I consider it a great success.

Phenomenal flight captures, Cog! I'm guessing they are cormorants of some type.

Thank you, Mike! Yes, this is the same bird as in the earlier photos that day. It's a young Socotra cormorant. I guess they were practicing their flying skills, since all they did was just to fly back and forth along the shore.
