This eagle shot is definitely a "10!" I truly like it, Ed. Very nicely captured.

Man, I don't know how you keep coming up with these amazing captures, Ed! I marvel at this shot, just like so many others you've taken!

Thanks! I have to give most of the credit to the Osprey, who I have named George for no particular reason. He perched on the same tree all summer long above his private fishing hole, chasing off any other osprey that dared fly too close, and would pull 3 or 4 fish a day out, giving me plenty of opportunity for great shots. Sadly, it looks like George has flown south for the winter, and the pickings here will get very slim over the winter months. -?

Hi Ted...

Now that's my kind of photograph. Beautiful light, dramatic pose and excellent camera work. So nice.

Tom

Many thanks Tom for your kind reply.

There will be days when you get the shot(s) you missed days, months or years before.

Thanks for the reply, Ed. Even with slim pickings, I have no doubt that you'll come up with some amazing shots over the winter months.

Terrific capture, EB! I really like this one. It's so nicely separated from the background.

I had just framed this Miner Bird and pressed the shutter and when I looked at the photo on the rear LCD, saw that the bird had just launched from the tree as I squeezed the shutter.:-)

Cheers

Dennis
