Male Bobolink

Excellent capture! I'd be happy to get a shot of one sitting still.

Excellent grab of this adult Cooper's, Mike! For whatever reason, I tend to see mostly juvies, so it was especially nice to see the adult so well displayed in flight.

Outstanding capture, Manny! It's not often we see sharp photos of hummers with captured insects.

Delightful capture of an osprey with prey, Joe! Very nicely done.

Nice close up and detail on this guy LD. Good reactions to nab him, they often fly low and fast.

Thank you very much, EB. They definitely do fly low and fast. That's why I have so few decent captures.:-(

Many, many thanks, Steve! I always appreciate your very kind comments. Like you, most of my captures are also of juvies. When I manage to get an adult, I usually have a little celebratory shot of whisky (at home) to celebrate. I'm still on the same original little bottle I started with many years ago.

Mike, I like both your Great Egret and Teal shots. But I have a thing for Teal BIFs and yours is so striking for its color, sharpness and sense of motion. So well done!

PS - I think you earned a pull at that little original bottle of yours.
