Excellent capture!

Thank you Sogs :)

Oh man...this is such an awesome capture, Sid! Plus, it's reflection is really cool looking. This is one of my favorites you've posted of the Common Buzzard.

Many thanks Mike, your enthusiasm is always appreciated. I've been waiting for this shot to happen and have had a few near misses so I'm pretty pleased with it too! :)

Super dramatic shot. Excellent composition and exposure. Not sure if he's going to land or attack his reflection! Very nice.

Thank you EB, it's amazing how dramatic just coming in to land can look! :)

cheers!

So much feather detail. On an Egret! You are the master of exposing both very dark and very bright birds! Nice work.

Thankk you, EB, for your kind and generous, compliment. It is much appreciated.

I truly thank you for your generous, thoughtful complement, havelock. Much appreciated.

Beautiful capture of this RHT, Mark! It's pose in flight is really appealing! Also the detail is great.

Really nice, Joe! The soft cloud background certainly adds to the picture.

Super nice capture, ED! Great separation of the osprey from the background.

This is an example of what one can recover from a Canon EOS R5 Raw file, when the camera is not set up for the surprise Buff-banded Rail crossing the forest floor.:-)

#2 is the full frame Raw file just down-sampled to 1600 pix, to show the degree of under exposure.

Cheers

Dennis

Thanks Mike, this is where the 45M Pixels of the R5 really facilitates a large crop without too much loss of IQ.:-)

Cheers
