I was not out to photograph birds, and I had the 70-200 mm lens on - so very heavy crop. The beaters on the pheasant shoot flushed a barn owl. Not seen it for a couple of years and don't know if it is the same one from 2 years past, but it was in the same spot... so... Anyway, it was nice to see it again. These are small, but the ones out there are far away.
