This Sulphur-crested Cockatoo was feeding high up in the canopy and then took flight and I managed to grab a couple of frames. Tough shots as these birds are quick and erratic, no easy straight and level flight. :-)

#2 is a full res 1600x1600 crop.

Although not native to my area a pair of these Major Mitchel's were "liberated" by having their aviary wire cut and so far have defied all efforts to recapture them. They have remained local and seem to be in good nick.
