Lame-Duck I have indeed had pine nuts More info | Dec 02, 2022 17:14 | #6248 Outstanding flight shot of the Caracara, Paul! It's such a sharp, clear image! These are two excellent flight shots of the stork, RAL! Both are very sharp images. I especially like the second shot with the birds wings outstretched. sidknee wrote in post #19452348 common buzzard, female What a spectacular shot, Sid! I love the hawks pose, plus the image is so sharp and lifelike. LD, or Mike

Thank you Paul, much appreciated. realairlight wrote in post #19452189 Nice exposure, very comfortable white. I just shot some photos of the great egrets. I know how difficult it is to get a balanced exposure between the almost pure white birds and background. Thank you very much, RAL. I've alway found that both all white and all black subjects are difficult to balance against the backgrounds. Sometimes pure luck saves us and sometimes not. Thank you sogs. That late afternoon sun can provide some very pleasant lighting results. steveb108 wrote in post #19452267 That late afternoon glow imparted a beautiful feel to this image, Mike. They often just look dark in poor light, so I was pleased to get some color to show. All birds photographed in the wild.
