This is great! How close were you? I notice all the detail but the beak is not in focus. F5.6 is shallow but makes me think this little guy was right in front of you!

This Great Egret shot is my favorite of the two images, RAL! When it comes to birds I'm a fan of color. Although I must say that the shot of the B&W house crow does look pretty cool!
