Osprey hovering over Huntington beach pier - in the end, he decided that landing on a wind monitor was not a good idea, and moved on.

Cool looking shot, Manny! The osprey definitely made a wise choice.

Thanks Mike, we (hundreds of spectators) were happily surprised to see him appear in the middle of an airshow, but all the more relieved to watch him move to a safer venue.

This is truly an impressive capture of the Black-Crowned Night Heron, Paul! Great lighting...very appealing!

This Great Egret shot is my favorite of the two images, RAL! When it comes to birds I'm a fan of color. Although I must say that the shot of the B&W house crow does look pretty cool!

You really nailed this shot, Steve! This Short-eared Owl is tack sharp, and looks so attractive against the blurred background of grass! Excellent photography.

Simply awesome, Vassilis! You are definitely an artist with that camera of yours!bw!

Out of sight, Ed! So amazing!

Terrific capture of the Black Kite, Pippan!

Many thanks Mike, always appreciated. Happy trails.

I agree with you. Buying a color camera to take photo of crows is a waste!
