This limpkin was rather far away so I couldn't crop in much.

This flight shot of the Limpkin is very cool looking, Kirk! I really like it.

Alsace flies again!

Ciconia ciconia is the icon, the emblem and the symbol of the Alsace region.
Endangered when I was a child, a vast program to preserve the species has borne fruit. Nowadays, they are so numerous in our small towns that there is talk of reducing their population. Seven nests on the neighboring village church alone.
This one had perched for a long time on my neighbor's barn.

Thank you very much, Rich. I appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Terrific!

Outstanding capture of this beautiful Red-breasted Parakeet in flight, RAL! I really like this wing spread flight pose.

Joe, you captured the Swallow-tailed Kite so beautifully! Great work!

A-Number-1 capture!

Thank you Mike

That's really good news. I hope they don't cull them though.

Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.

Superb flight capture of this Collared Kingfisher, RAL! Doesn't he know that he's supposed to be a fish eater.;-)a

Seems like this guy is going for anything edible except fish.

This bird will evolve into another penguin one million years later
