I have an online friend in the US that is looking to get some astrophotography images printed. I would have said Bayphoto or Millers, but having seen the most recent thread on printing in the forum, I thought I had better ask. Thanks

I do all of my printing through White House Custom Color (WHCC) and have never been disappointed. I took the time to set up my system with their printer profile for some soft proofing and then had them run a handful of small, test prints when I set up an account and they've been great ever since. I know others have had good results and a great selection of mediums out of Bayphoto, as well, but never used them or Millers personally.

I use either Meridian Pro or MPIX, depending on who has the best sale price at the time. I've been satisfied with both services.

I still use Millers.

That said, I did have a problem with my last order. Ordered a acrylic and one corner had a small chip. Contacted them and would remake. The remake came and the original order was for matte, the remake was glossy. Contacted and they would remake again. I started liking the glossy better, so contacted them to cancel remake. They gave a credit for the difference in prices, which was good since I had another order planned. I will say I was surprised the acrylic with the chip was shipped without them catching it. The piece from the chip was not in the box so it had to have been wrapped that way.

Also, MPIX is a division of Millers.
