Digital Speed Challenge #692 Still Life

Being stuck mostly indoors by the cold and covid, I'm experiencing cabin fever and I'm going around the house looking for interesting compositions to photograph. show me your "fine art" still life shots from around your home.
This challenge begins when posted and ends on Monday, January 31st, 2022 midnight GMT. Winner of this challenge will be announced shortly thereafter.

The Challenge Rules:

1. Camera: Any DIGITAL CAMERA is allowed, not just DSLR.
2. Time: Any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Size: Please visit Image Posting Rules.
4. Post Processing: Do whatever you like and the host will decide if it works.
5. Posting: ONE PHOTO per photographer per challenge. List camera model & lens used. Post brief EXIF data: ISO, shutter speed and aperture.
6. Commenting: No commenting during challenge. When the posting is closed and a winner declared, comments can be made in this thread.
7. Keep it clean, and both Family and Work safe.
8. Have questions, PM me.
9. Have lots of FUN!

On Hold

Nice entries everyone! Thank you all for your participation.

I keep coming back to Happygav's "On Hold" It has the composition closest to "Still Life" I was looking for. Old Crow is a very close second.

A few musings on the entries:

OldCrow: Classic arrangement (curling up with a good book on a stormy night?). Nice composition Don!

SynJohn: Whimsical entry John and I enjoyed it a lot; however the arrangement implies action to me which is contrary to the meaning of "Still Life"

TerryPink: Nice entry Terry but the tablet image breaks the "Still Life" for me.

RDWP: Simple, colorful composition Rob. Nice bokeh.

Happygav: Another classic arrangement; this one with a mid-century, noir feel Nicely done Gavin!

Congrats Gav! Nice arrangement. My father used a typewriter just like that one for decades until we finally convinced him to get an electric. It think the Remington it may still be around, including its "portable" case.

Confession re: my still life with green apples - these are actually peas in a doll house bowl, resting on a sushi mat. Was playing with macro focus stacking last week. (Seeing the splinters now, I think it's time for a new mat.)
