Jerez is known beyond Spain primarily for its sherry. But horses have been bred in Andalusia for more than 1000 years. That is why a big horse fair has been held in Jerez every year since 1284. Always at the beginning of May, the proud riders parade with their Andalusians at the Feria del Caballo.
