Helping cleanup tornado damage in Dawson Springs, KY. These are the things that make you sit down and cry when you find them in the rubble.
Cell phone, keep your fingers away from the lens.

I look at the news showing such events.
It's very heartwrenching to watch.

And those poignant reminders of a previous time really drive it home

From across the other side of the globe it's not gone unnoticed and yet one feels so helpless!

That's even more disturbing.

The house that was on this foundation flew over the White House and landed just past where the green pickup is parked. It had six people in it. All survived that, but a three month old baby died a few days later.

A tornado hit a storage facility and camper/boat storage area at Kingston, OK. About 14 miles from where I live. A member of our church had 4 or 5 big trees fall across his house right across from where these were taken. We got the trees all cleaned up yesterday and today, but there are still tons of sheet metal from campers all twisted into his trees.

This is damage at Buncombe Creek, OK.
A member of our church was asleep on this bed when the tornado hit. Amazingly, he only had a few scratches. Second photo is where the bedroom used to be.
