I have been checking a few sites it seems like more RF lenses are in stockm mainly looking for the Rf100-500. The formerly elusive 100-500 is in stock on several sites. I finally bit the bullet and ordered one from B&H - its already shipped and will be delivered tomorrow with free shipping. Payboo savings are nice. I checked a few other sites, Pictureline, Best Buy and Amazon have the lens in stock and seems like for the first time more RF lenses are in stock than the ones out of stock. Maybe the recent price increases have lowered the demand, or maybe Canon has stepped up production (or both). I was not happy paying an extra $100, but at the current pace of inflation, we may see more price increases over the year.
Not trying to advertise, just an FYI for those who maybe looking for a lens.
The lens is now $200 more expensive than when I first bought my R5. I was surprised looking at Picureline, (probably the easiest site to check general availability of all RF lenses) to see so many RF lenses in stock. I hope this means that Canon has been able to increase manufacturing capacity. Not that I am planning on buying any additional lenses for awhile. The photography equipment budget pretty dry right now.
