Not sure about that. From what I’ve read they only mate in Jan-Feb.

Thanks. I wondered whether they were aligned like that purposefully. If they were just traveling, you'd think they'd get in each other's way. As for historical observations, changing temperatures have thrown off schedules for parts of nature.
