Price: $3,450.00
Payment method: PayPal
Item condition: 10 Preowned equipment, but appears as new
Shipping instructions: Free shipping to CONUS

This sale is for a virtually new Canon EOS R5 Body. NO LENS.

I recently purchased a (second) R5 as I got tired of waiting for the R3 to arrive and I found a great deal on a "New in Box" R5 + RF 24-105mm F4 L kit from a local seller. I sold the 24-105, since I only wanted the R5. Well, guess what? Immediately after getting the second R5, the R3 arrived! So now I’m selling the R5.

I don't have a receipt since the original owner got it as a gift and didn't have a receipt. I didn’t have the opportunity to use the R5 beyond a few tests shots to confirm settings. The R5 came with FW version 1.4 (released on 8/19/21) on it, so it can't be older than that. However, I'm not sure of what the actual purchase date was or what the warranty status of it would be without a receipt. I installed FW 1.5.1 and have taken very few test shots (I’d say less than 100). Shutter count says <= 1000.

None of the other items were opened. The battery was never used.

Offering at $3450.00 net to me. I’ll cover shipping in the CONUS. You cover any payment fees.

You may need to drop the price on the R5. A refurb from Canon with 1 year warranty is $3,500 and in stock. Just trying to help you sell this faster.

And now they include a Canon bag worth 50 bucks.

Agreed. Not even second party item as seller purchased it from original owner. Given the Canon refurb stock will be hard to move at essentially identical price point.

Something inherently wrong with hijacking the OPs thread bashing his price point..

****Yup - The OP needs to ask the mods to remove this thread and he needs to start over. Hopefully folks will leave it alone and let him make his own decisions.

Most other forums I’m on don’t allow replies on FS posts except by the OP. Probably for exactly this reason.

There is a sticky in the Market Watch Forum, but not in the Classified area. Maybe there should be.

Folks, thanks for the support with forum etiquette. It was really rather strange to see price discussion posts like that.

To those who offered pricing advice, I know you were trying to help, so thanks. Perhaps a private message to the seller is a more appropriate way to accomplish that.

BTW, I sold the R5.
