A good subject; others must have been busy.

This was a challenging challenge OhLook and I’m disappointed it didn’t draw more entries.

Thanks. I thought the topic would be easy because it allowed for many interpretations. Strangely, nothing came in that was commercial. There weren't any photos of stores, auctions, people at their jobs, people buying services. Maybe I see exchanges or tradeoffs everywhere and this isn't a common way of viewing the world. -?

I did try a "commerce"-related set-up of different currencies by their exchange rates as of last week, but photogenically, it just didn't do it for me.

Anyway, here it is since I did it up, though no final edits / tweaks.

"Even Exchanges"

Interesting and "pretty" enough. It would have got some votes.

I just couldn't think of anything for this challenge , i do also wonder if the bank holiday here in the UK had an effect as well.

Sorry - my mind was elsewhere ( both sons in the process of moving into new premises! ) . But today inspiration hit ...

This is Børsen in Copenhagen (Danish for "the Exchange"), built 1620 - 1645 and one of the oldest exchanges around. This photo was taken during the Light Festival, when it had a fantastical historical show projected on it.

Oh, am I too late :rolleyes::-D

Darn, I'm sure it could have bagged a fifth or sixth place ;-)a

The building is probably better known for the four dragons twined together to make the spire.

Thanks. Being a decadent American, I didn't know there was a holiday.

That would have been a good one, too. I bet the name lives in a cluster with "purse" and "disburse."
