Thank you, during the winter there are many finches in the garden so there may be more photo's! (only today the fireworks scare most of them away:-x)

Well, bring ‘em on! :)

EDIT: Fireworks, yes. Amsterdam now has a ban on it, but does that stop people? No of course not! vmad

Those are beauties, Patrick.

Today the weather was/is mild and there was more light and no rain so I went to the park for a short stroll. Well, wouldn’t you know, 1 January, a Sunday, nice weather, so half Amsterdam was there, enjoying the day, and the birds stayed out of sight. I did see a group of Long-tailed Tits but by the time I had grabbed my gear they were gone. Still, nice to have spotted them, pretty little birds.

Thanks, it's certainly mild, the first tick of this year is already here:

I'm still waiting on the return of the long tailed tits, only seen them once last year. Sometimes just watching is better than hasty photo's;-)a and being outside in nice weather is always good.

Today I had both male and female woodpecker in the garden at the same time, didn't know which to shoot:lol: (I've got proof but first need to sort and proces)
