Fingers crossed there are eggs in there! She seems to be very comfy.
Is the male involved in anything after the conception or is she on her own?
Isn't the second photo an already big chick?

I put my camera up for sale on Marktplaats.nl (the Dutch eBay maybe, or Craigslist). It was gone within an hour and ten minutes ago two young people walked out the door with it. I can't believe it. I thought I would sort of feel the waters, not expecting any responses at all. But before I could blink the camera was gone. Amazing. Wild Birds of Europe

Nice behaviour shots, rarely see baby blackbirds here, they are all in the bushes!

The males are involved in bringing food to the nest and the young are dependant on parents for a further 3 months or so after fledging. We have heard both calling to one another quite frequently.
