Really? I had no idea. The best I have seen is a bit of a neck twist, when a male spotted an attractive female on a ridge high above him.

Still shooting from my window, Jan. I must say I am amazed at what flies by my apartment on a daily basis. I had no idea. I even saw a Buzzard and a Hobby. I have to look at the pics I took of them. I take a lot of pics but it's the processing that isn't being done. So I'm happy that today I did manage to process a few shots.

Here's another. These guys visit the canal every day, often early in the morning or late afternoon. I have so many good shots of them, I have no idea what to do with them all.

Sorry to hear you still have to take photos from home, luckily it can be rewarding every now and then. And yes, the processing does take up some time as well as being behind a computer is less fun than being behind the camera. I mostly shoot sports, but the picture taking at the sidelines is only the small part, while culling and editing far exceeds the playtime of the match.

Good morning, Jan. And thanks.

It also doesn’t help that I really hate the whole processing thing to begin with. If I were rich I swear I would outsource it! It would be great if I could do it on my iPad, but that just doesn’t work for me as I find it clumsy and awkward.

Went out for a walk in nature yesterday morning. Heared a lot of birds, but did not see many of them. Groups of runners I think were part of the reason the birds did not show near the paths/ trails. To ad to that, the weather was far more dull than it should have been according to the forecast. A blue tit (original cropped to 1400x2100 pixels, based on an R5 raw file taken with the RF 800mm f11) and a mute swan with a little bit of sun, were about the best I could get.

I do like the editing sometimes, but after working on it for few hours it starts to feel more of a burden and obligation, rather than pure fun. I try to ease my workflow using something like a loupedeck. And about editing on an iPad, I would nog even start with that, as normal operation with a tablet (like scrolling through youtube) is not even my kind of operating electrical devices.

Yeah, I think of post processing, editing, as a necessary evil. :-P

I love my iPad. It has basically replaced my Mac Pro. Except for photo editing and if I have to type large bodies of text.

Good to see you posting (gulls  ) again.

I only use a laptop(with mouse) so sometimes process sitting on the couch with one eye on the TV and a glass of wine within reach in the evening, it improves the evil;-)a.
