An Eurasian treecreeper (Certhia familiaris).
It always makes me happy to follow these birds looking for food.
This bird was a bit shy and mainly stayed at the other side of the tree, but finally I managed to take some pictures.
(The picture was taken with R7, not in the database.)

These birds move like they're on acid: now you see them, now you don't. Hard to get good shots of. You did good!

nice. the few treecreppers i've seen have tended to twist their way up the tree, so if you miss them, they'll show up again, just a bit higher.
